(San Diego, CA) January 22, 2013– Positive Hip-Hop artist Ruslan released his highly-anticipated solo debut album, “Carry On,” on iTunes and Amazon today. This album highlights the evolution of his career as an MC.
“We took an unorthodox approach to the creation of this album,” said Ruslan. The album features production from producers who are part of Kings Dream Entertainment, the music label that Ruslan founded. “I worked closely with producers DJ Rek and JRuckers to create our own unique sound,” Ruslan explained.
When asked about what it means to have a unique sound, Ruslan responded, “we make ‘Truth Music.’ It’s music that is true to who we are on and off stage, true to our experiences, and true to our view of Hip-Hop and the world.” Many of the songs on the album are very personal and obviously shaped by Ruslan’s experience of having come to America as a religious refugee.
“Carry On” is the follow-up to “Never Arrive,” an album Ruslan released in December of 2011 as the front man of Hip-Hop crew theBREAX. That album debuted at #3 on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts. Rusan expects even more success for “Carry On.”
“I’m excited to have some fun records on the album like ‘In My Heart,’ ‘Swerve,’ and ‘Kayfuem,’ that people might not be used to hearing from me,” said Ruslan.
While creating records that might surprise some people, no one will be surprised by the quality of the music and the quality of the artists featured on “Carry On.” Reach Records artist Lecrae, whose latest album reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200, is featured on the album along with Chris Cobbins of Late Bloom, and JR of High Society.
“I wanted to highlight the talents of Kings Dream artists, so I made sure that any other artists who were featured on the album brought a refreshing element to the album and only added to the overall quality of the sound.” Ruslan is confident that the featured artists did just that.
“I’m excited to be releasing my first full-length solo album. It has been an amazing experience to take my vision for my music and bring it to life.” Ruslan said. “I’m excited for people to hear it and be able to share this experience with me.” If the initial critical reaction is any indication, listeners will most definitely enjoy the “Carry On” musical experience.
“Carry On” is available as a download on both iTunes and Amazon. The Deluxe CD version of album, featuring a free download of bonus tracks and content, is available on the Kings Dream Entertainment website, KingsDreamENT.com

Lets Talk about it (Lyrics)
Verse 1:
Jesus was a real man, really lived and worked that earth
went around and healed man, women, children all who cursed
I ain’t here to shoot the breeze or talk about a mystery
BC AD his birth split History
Born into a humble life, could a prophet come from the
ghetto of Galilee and be a nazarene they grumbled like
they had him all figured out
today we do the same thing
let me help you
this is not a saint thing
I am not a Holy Rapper
but Holy words and phrases
are being misused by some of our own rappers
Ain’t about me lyrically mean mugging
but to make yall aware that these words mean something
church, amen, hallelujah, pray
These things we hold dearly, not cliche’s
we just say
you don’t choose to mock islam and praying to the east
so please don’t make a mockery out of the prince of peace
peace
Hook:
Jesus Peace
Lets talk about it
Verse 2:
And this ain’t about me, dissing Jayceon,
The truth is I got alotta love for Jayceon,
been rocking with him since they day he first got on
I own every album so don’t take me the wrong
way, heard he slowed down from that fast life
and he got baptized, must be getting strong
He follows my crew on twitter, see if that will last long
Cause I’m not sure if he would co-sign this song
Let me help you,
over 15% attend church every Sunday and claim to be devout
not counting the other 60% who claim to be christian
yall must think we don’t love Hip-Hop or we don’t listen
listen, I represent a lot of points of views
people who think rappers maybe getting a little loose
with their references of God and of Jesus
who freed us from our sin so them lyrics grieve us
Hook:
Lets talk about it
Jesus Peace, Jesus Peace
Lets talk about it
Lets talk about it
Verse 3:
This ain’t a personally attack of any one man
But to help yall understand your dissing your own fans
dissing your own fam and confusing others
by letting them think Jesus is some soft man
who saves you but doesn’t really change you
lets you keep wildn’ out and remain the same you
He’s never out of reach when your hung over and lay there
Accepts you as you are, but doesn’t let you stay there
And that is good news, I’ve seen Him take the worst
of sinners and transform them to what you would call good dudes
yeah that’s the gospel right
you gonna talk about Jesus, please get the Gospel right
I ain’t a gospel rapper but I live a gospel life
and if your really saved this shouldn’t make you hostile right
There is good news I ain’t trying to make you frown bright
cause this is what church in the wild really sounds like
